The Grand Union Hotel provides 26 guest rooms, all of which have been exquisitely restored. Enjoy a view of the Missouri River and park from many of our rooms. Choose from our Deluxe Single with a queen size bed, Deluxe Double with two queen or two full size beds, Junior Suite, or our Master Suite.


We’ve made sure that our rooms live up to the rest of your experience with us. A bold use of color, fabrics, and artwork is paired with custom-made furnishings for a unique look and feel. Guests have a choice of selecting a room with a dark walnut headboard or an iron bed as they originally did in 1882.

DELUXE SINGLE

Our Deluxe Single rooms feature a queen size bed and are comfortable and stylishly appointed with custom-made hardwood furnishings designed after some of the original pieces from 1882. Offering a choice between a room with a dark walnut headboard or an iron bed, each room has its own bath with mosaic tile floors, pedestal sink, and tub/shower. Many of the rooms feature a view of the Missouri River as an added enhancement.

DELUXE

Our ADA Accessible Deluxe is accessible by elevator and features a queen size bed. As with other rooms, it is comfortably and stylishly appointed with custom-made hardwood furnishings designed after some of the original pieces from 1882 with a dark walnut headboard and its own ADA compliant bath with mosaic tile floors, pedestal sink, and tub/shower.

JUNIOR SUITE

Our three Junior Suites are elegantly appointed with custom-made hardwood furnishings designed after some of the original pieces from 1882. All of our Junior Suites have lovely river views and feature one queen bed, a small sitting area with an old-fashioned love seat, and complimentary in-room coffee makers. Each room has its own bath with mosaic tile floor and pedestal sink. Two of our Junior Suites feature jetted tubs.

MASTER SUITE

Our Master Suite is located in the original Ladies’ Parlor and is our most spacious and luxurious room featuring a queen size bed with hardwood maple floors, an old-fashioned sofa and armchair enhanced with an antique area rug, and a complimentary in-room coffee maker. The Master Suite’s well-appointed bathroom is enhanced with a double claw foot tub and separate glass shower, mosaic tile floor, and pedestal sink. In 1882, the view from the balcony off the Ladies’ Parlor was popular for watching the gunfights on Main Street. Today, the original balcony is primarily decorative, however you can still enjoy a gorgeous view of the park and Missouri River.

Booking Policies | General Information:

All rates are based on double occupancy, exclusive of tax and subject to change. There is no charge for children under 12 to stay in the hotel. Additional adults are $10 each plus tax. Limited roll-aways are available and cost $15 per night plus tax.
 

 A credit card number has been collected to guarantee your stay. Your credit card will be charged the full amount of your stay on the first day the cancellation policy date takes affect for your reservation. (See below under Cancellation Policy for dates.)
 
Check-in time is 4pm. If you are checking in later than 9:00pm, please alert the staff and we will make arrangements.
Check out time is 11:00am. Late Check-out may be allowed for an extra charge, depending on room availability.
 
The Grand Union Hotel is a non-smoking establishment. While we are animal lovers, we do have a no pet policy.
 
CANCELLATION POLICY
Our cancellation policy is 14 days (June, July & August), 7 days (May, September & October) and 48 hours (November-April). With cancellation notice of less than the required days the full amount will be retained. In the event of a shortened stay, the total amount will be applied to the cancellation. Our cancellation policy applies, regardless of reason. However, if we can re-sell your room, we are pleased to do this for you, and will refund your credit card if we are able to secure a new room reservation. In October-May, a one-time move within 30 days will be allowed if cancelling within the corresponding window. If the move is into a higher rate season, the guest must pay the difference. If the move is into a lower rate season, any difference will not be refunded. The one-time move policy does not apply to special events packages.
 
GROUP BOOKINGS/MULTIPLE NIGHT STAYS
Reservations of 1-3 rooms totaling 4+ nights require a 50% deposit at time of booking and are single payer only. In June, July or August, your balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. In May, September or October your balance is due 14 days prior to arrival. In November through April, your balance is due 7 days prior to arrival. No refund of deposit will be given after the balance due date. If cancelling, refund of remaining balance due is at management discretion.
 
Reservations of 4-9 rooms require a 50% deposit at time of booking and are single payer only. Deposits for 4-9 rooms reserved for May through September are non-refundable after 30 days of booking date and/or 60 days prior to arrival. October-April, deposits are non-refundable after 30 days of booking date and/or 14 days prior to arrival. Remaining balance is due 30 days (May-September) and 14 days (October-April) prior to arrival. No refund will be given after this date, for any reason.
Rebooking may be a possibility, at managament discretion.
 
Balances due on group/multiple night bookings will be automatically charged. If we are unable to secure the balance due and are unable to make contact with the booking party, we will consider the booking cancelled.
 
If you are booking multiple rooms please provide the names of the other people staying.
 
SPECIAL EVENTS
Special Events, including but not limited to Wine or Beer tastings, New Year's Eve, etc. require reservations be prepaid and are subject to a 7-day cancellation policy. No refunds will be given within those 7 days for any reason, although you may transfer your reservation to another guest/guests.
